Cancellation and Refunds

Each engagement is agreed individually and confirmed in writing before work begins. The cancellation and refund terms for a specific project are set out in the relevant engagement letter or agreement.

Where no separate written terms have been agreed, the following default terms apply. If you cancel before any work has begun, any payment received will be refunded less any reasonable direct costs already incurred in preparation for the engagement. If work has begun, fees for work already completed are non-refundable. Any refund for work not yet completed will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you are a consumer and enter into a contract with me at a distance, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days from the day after the contract is concluded. If, at your request, work begins during this cancellation period, you must pay for the services provided up to the time of cancellation. If the services are fully performed during this period, and you expressly requested that they begin during this period and acknowledged that your cancellation right would be lost once the services were fully performed, your right to cancel will end at that point.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
